Sneha Arora

On a regular day, you’ll spot in a formal shirt matched with a pair trousers and kolhapuris. Her label, much like her own style, epitomizes a combination of androgyny and simplicity.

She started her career by designing the women’s wear line at Van Heusen. “I realised the best way to learn was by being part of a corporate set-up,” she said. A student of NIFT Kolkata, Sneha was on her way to becoming a doctor before she filled Institute’s application form on a whim.

She worked with the formal wear brand for three years before starting out on her own. Her GenNext entry into fashion dates back to Autumn/Winter 2012 where she displayed a mixed range of pleated A-line skirts, graphic printed shirts and structured blazers, tucked at the waist. Combined with a palette of off-beat accessories like glasses, brogues and bowties, her ramp debut made a lasting impression.
