Preview: Giorgio Armani’s First-Ever Swiss Made Watch

Unveiled at Men’s Fashion Week in Milan, Giorgio Armani invited a privileged few for a dekko of his new luxury watches line under his namesake brand.
Touted to be more premium by way of branding (compared to the current lot of Emporio Armani watches), watch making technique and precision, Armani has sourced the 1930s through 1940s for inspiration, albeit while putting a contemporary designer twist of his own of course.
While those who were treated to a front row view are raving about the mix of innovation and tradition on the tickers, it is the Swiss make of these watches that help it score high on tech specs.
The Giorgio Armani Swiss timepieces will be produced under license by Fossil, and will make their grand public debut at BaselWorld in March.
Estimated price points range between $600 and $1,500, retailing through Armani boutiques and high-end luxury watch retailers. Sold?
