Inside Elton John and David Furnish's Californian abode.
Well if you are an Eric Clapton fan, then it would please you to know that he’s releasing a limited edition of guitars in collaboration with Fender, Gibson and C.F. Martin & Company. Slotted as ‘The Eric Clapton Crossroads Guitar collection’, these instruments will make their debut at the upcoming Crossroads Festival, and will retail exclusively at the Guitar Center.
And while Clapton gets to work, Sir Elton John and partner David Furnish are gearing up for play. A sneak peek into their new Californian abode reveals that the family home fuses contemporary art with traditional décor, all courtesy designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard. The highlight however is Bullard’s usage of silver mylar on the ceiling, which manages to reflect the Mapplethorne photographs and the view outside.
