Alice Temperley has become as much of a household name when it comes to British fashion as say, Stella McCartney or Sarah Burton.
The London-based designer, known for her classic, feminine styles that are a favourite with Britain's social set including Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, as well as Sarah Jessica Parker, Eva Mendes and J-Lo is sending her collection to Mumbai as part of a four-day British fashion extravaganza.
In fact, Kate Middleton's much-loved Amoret dress, an exquisite floor-length Temperley London creation in black lace, will form the centre piece of this fashionable show. It will be displayed at the Phoenix Mills in Mumbai for four days as a part of the The Great Big British Bash.
The festival, which is a collaboration between the British fashion house and the British Airways, will witness fashion forecasts by Temperley London. In addition, a special feature ‘Fashion Through the Ages’ promises to bring the best of British Fashion from the last 80 years.
