Week in Luxury: Bespoke Editions Galore
This week has a lot in store for the fans of Rolls Royce, Mercedes and Ferrari. Rolls Royce has rolled out a special bespoke limited edition called 'One thousand and One Nights'. Inspired by the Arabian Nights tales the car features a warm colour palette and intricately applied detailed touches.
If you thought that was jaw dropping, brace yourself, Mercedes has finally unveiled its most awaited car, the 2013 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series. The car includes custom-built camshafts, new air intakes, and improved oil and water cooling. With a 6.2 litre V8 engine roaring beneath, this car delivers 635hp and 635Nm!
You might want this one. Ferrari isn't launching anything new, but it is auctioning North America's first F12 Berlinetta to help victims of Hurricane Sandy. Specially painted in Rosso Berlinetta with a choice of black or camel shade upholstery, this exclusive drive comes with special customisation options - the hood signed by F1 drivers etc. The new owner can also attend the Ferrari Corso Pilota driving course. Not such a bad idea after all.

Party season is around the corner, and what's a party without some good alcohol? Russian Vodka Stolichnaya has launched the elit series, titled The Himalayan Edition. Limited to a 300 bottles, it contains water from the Langtang National Park in the Himalayas combined with winter wheat from the Tambov region in Russia. Each of these bottles comes in a numbered hand carved walnut chest.
How creative can you get with a cycle? Vandeyk Contemporary Cycles has unveiled the Purple Blast. Hand-crafted in Germany and limited to 25 pieces, it has the Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 electronic shifting technology with fully-integrated wiring, Columbus XCr stainless steel frames and has used components from premium manufacturers such as Chris King or ENVE Composites. Yep, that's about it.

Celcius X VI II,known for combining the dying art of watchmaking with the burgeoning art of creating cell phones, has launched the Optic GMT Furtif which features clockwork mechanism, and a new mysterious fiber optic microguide dual display technology. This mechanical phone is limited to a mere 28 pieces and features a butterfly winding, image guiding and battery ejection system. It can be yours for $97,400 (approx Rs 53 lakh).
For the shopaholic in you, Burberry has opened its second largest store in Chicago. Spread over five floors, the store stands out with a custom LED-illuminated black chrome glass. Inside, the store features floor-to-ceiling digital walls that broadcasts runway shows. This store houses a big client lounge on the second floor too.
