What We Like: Balagan, a champagne brunch + sundowner.
Why We Like It: It's called Bagatelle in New York and Bacanal in London. In Mumbai, Vishal Manghnani, Atmika Didwania, Pia Shvdasani and and Devina Lason are organizing Balagan and all-day party that kicks of with a champagne brunch. Tunes are courtesy DJ Swap.
Where: From 12.30pm to 8.pm at 212, Worli; price: Guest list entry is complimentary until 4pm. From 4pm onwards there will be cover charge of Rs.1000 only at the door.
What We Like: Belvedere's Sunday sundowner.
Why We Like It: What's not to like about sipping cocktails while watching the sun set over the Arabian Sea? The luxury vodka brand's second sundowner at Aer will showcase Kini Rao with Rahul Chabs spinning some sets, while Charlee from Bhavishyavani Future Soundz will be playing some electric and urban contemporary tunes.
Where: 5pm onwards at Aer, The Four Seasons, Worli, on Sunday December 9; price: Pay as you go.
What We Like: Ellipsis' all-day (and night) brunch.
Why We Like It: The Modern American-style restaurant has launched it's a la carte Sunday brunch menu with such dishes as Lobster Eggs Benedict , Duck Pancake, Baja Fish Tacos and Beef Carpaccio.
Where: From 12pm-10pm at Ellipsis, Colaba.
What We Like: The sea food market at JW Marriott
Why We Like It: The Lotus Café is hosting a sea food dinner on Fridays and Saturdays. On the menu are King Tiger prawns, Bay of Bengal Bekti, pomfret, Scampi, Bassa, squid and clams.
