Louis XIII Rare Cask 42,6 Gets Lavish India Launch
Remy Martin's limited edition Louis XIII Rare Cask 42,6
The House of Remy Martin made a second addition to Louis XIII’s Rare Cask collection. With select guests flying in from 17 different countries, this century old concoction was unveiled in the land of the royals—Udaipur, Rajasthan.
Intensely packed with an array of 1,200 different flavours ranging from plums and dates, to gingerbread and tobacco leaf, this batch is particularly concentrated (higher than the standard 40%), and has a unique 42,6 degree of alcohol; hence the name!
Unfortunately, the barrel that this blend was stored in was one of the smaller ones, and can only suffice the bottling of 738 decanters.
With a limited edition tag to its credit, the contents of the Louis XIII’s Rare Cask 42,6 will be packaged in serial numbered decanters to create more exclusivity, and will also be selectively available at certified Louis XIII retailers, best palaces, hotels and restaurants.
A decanter will set you back by €18,000 (approximately Rs 12.7 lakh).
