By Posted Feb 15th 2017

At a recently held sale, the New York department of Christie’s auction house sold a rare, antique lamp for a whopping $2.8 million. The lamp in question—the Pink Lotus—was manufactured by New York’s Tiffany Studios in 1906. It is made using the copper foil technique a.k.a. The lamp's mosaic pattern has been put together using 2,000 individual handcrafted pieces of glass.
