Music, photography, art, music, dance and fashion will come together for Chivas Studio's newest, 60s-themed Broadway show.

The 2011 edition will showcase a collaboration between film maker Rohan Sippy and fashion designer duo Abraham & Thakore. Commenting on whether designing for a particular theme limited their creativity, David Abraham of Abraham & Thakore says, "It is much easier, as you have to just dress the character. We are still working on it, nothing is final…but it is easier than designing for the ramp."

What to Expect
Putting the Broadway musical's stars through their moves will be ace choreographer Terence Lewis; Ranjit Barot will compose the music. Director Sippy says, "Music runs through the narrative in a big way."

Painter and installation artist Paresh Maity and photographer Jatin Kampal will create the Art Foyer, which will have their installations, photographs, paintings and video art. Live art genius Brian Olsen, will collaborate with Mrigya, an Indian fusion band for Art Jam.

Previously, personalities such as Shekhar Kapur, Prabuddha Dasgupta, Rohit Bal, Bose K, and Manish Arora have also worked on projects for Chivas Studio.

Can you picture the chaos that is being organised? But we're certain that they'll pull it off. And like Sippy says, "Unlike a film, there is no control of the play once it starts. But that's the exciting part, watching an audience react instantly."

And who do you think this play is targeted at? One of the artists was quoted saying, "someone who drinks and can afford Chivas".

Chivas Studio will host a two day showcase event in Delhi on November 26 and 27, 2011 and in Mumbai on December 10 and 11, 2011.
