One can buy almost any television set these days—a model with great picture quality or a model with 3D—but what we are missing out on is the look of the product. We are quite particular about the design elements in our home but when it comes to television, there is a silent compromise that we tend to make. Bringing a revolution in home decor and changing this idea of compromise, Bang & Olufsen has unveiled its new smart TV—the BeoVision 14—a product that is not just a television but also doubles up as a decor piece.
The BeoVision 14 is a combination of the brand’s two popular products— the BeoVision 11 and the BeoVision Avant. The makers have paired the aluminium-framed display screen with oak wood layers underneath that covers the blank space, making it look more like a high-end furniture piece than an electronic appliance.
Described as a living canvas, this artful television comes in 40 to 55 inch models and features a 4K ultra-HD LED panel with anti-reflective coating, and a built-in light sensor (a feature that monitors illumination and adjusts the images accordingly). It also features a three-way speaker and bass unit fitted for providing an effective sound experience.
To describe it in our words, we’d say this is one TV you won’t mind staring at even when it is off.
