Inside the Award-Winning AB116 Diamond Yacht
The AB116 Diamond boasts of two saloon areas dedicated to lounge activities
Known for their streamlined and aggressive hull lines, AB Yachts’ silver gold AB116 luxury yacht is most impressive inside out. In collaboration with Guido De Groot Design, Fipa Group has managed to bag the Best Interior Design Award in the semi-displacement yachts category at The Showboats Design Awards held at Monaco Opera House last week.
The reasons can be attributed to the generous spacious interiors, fuss free décor, and well-appointed spaces for crew and owner onboard.
While the colour palette is dominated by a very sober white, black and grey, pops of colour have been introduced by way of stark contrasting reds and yellows.
The luxury yacht features a main saloon ideal for lounging activities, equipped with a spacious U-shaped seating are, a 12-seater dining table, and a concealed entertainment system.
What’s unique is that the yacht has not one but two saloon areas, the second of which is located on the lower deck. The highlight of this space is the natural light that filters in through the windshield of the main helm.
Accomodation includes two twin and one double VIP cabin
Guests can retire to their private accommodations located aft of this lower deck saloon, where two twin and one double VIP cabins can accommodate a number of occupants comfortably. Each room has the provision of a private bath and access to the master cabin, which additionally hosts a lounge, a gym with a shower, the main bathroom and a sleeping area with a king-size bed.
And what’s a luxury yacht without a sizeable service crew? Rest assured the crew quarters with the main galley, a crew mess, and 3 twin cabins with a bathroom each is designed to service your servers ably.
The yacht is finished off with gorgeous teak-laid deck that can be compartmentalised into a lounge space, a sunbathing area, and an addition dining area with modern amenities.
With everything that’s thoughtfully onboard already, would you really need to use their customisation option? We think not!
